The Garbuitar

My newest instrument is The Garbuitar - an electric guitar made from, well, pretty much garbage. And ... it works! It's a tad heavy though. The bridge is made from an empty ballpoint pen and a hammer, the body uses hubcaps and an inflated bicycle tube, the pegbox is a book. The neck is from an old, derelict 'BC Rich' guitar so it seems in good shape along with the frets. So it shouldn't be too difficult to play, if the player can pick it up! Would be nice to build the amplifier out of garbage too ... hmmmm. The biggest challenge, as with all these instruments, is to have faith through the days of building because you don't really know if it is going to work until right at the end!
